Newcomers who Made a Splash

Jennifer Morrison (of the show “House”) wore a stunning gold metallic dress by Gianfranco Ferre. Suze says, “I LOVED this dress. It was the winner of the night. I don’t even know who this actress is but she looked gorgeous.

Jessica Stroup (pronounced STROWP) of the new “90210″) in a tight multi-colored little number. Suze says, “Sometimes a dress can *make* an actress and I think that is the case with these two young actress.”

While counting down to “90210″ returning on screen on Tuesday, January 6, The CW have released two featurettes from the teen drama series. One clip is entitled “Things” where each of the cast opens up about what they think of his or her cast mate and the other one is labeled “Guitar”, a tribute from the cast to the famous soundtrack.

In “castmates talk castamates”, the show’s stars like Tristan Wilds, Shenae Grimes, Jessica Lowndes and Jessica Stroup give testimony as well as some secrets about their co-stars. Dustin Miligan is said to be “the first in the make-up trailer”, AnnaLynne McCord is dubbed “unpredictable” while Tristan is said to have an amazing voice but too shy about it.

In the meantime “Guitar” brings out the goofiness out of the cast who imitate the melody of its soundtrack.

“90210″ continues its first season on January 6 with an episode called “Hello, Goodbye, Amen”. Jason Priestley directs this episode which will focus on the revelation of Sean’s true identity and the pregnancy of one of the students.

When Debbie (Lori Loughlin), Harry (Rob Estes), Annie (Shenae Grimes), Dixon (Tristan Wilds) and Sean (guest star Josh Henderson) spend the evening playing games, Annie overhears a phone call with Sean that raises suspicion. Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) invites Brenda (Shannen Doherty) to attend a support day at her rehab center, but the day quickly turns upside down when Adrianna learns information that will cause her life to change forever. Brenda and Kelly (Jennie Garth) stand by Adrianna’s side and Brenda reveals a secret she has been hiding from Kelly. Dixon and Christina’s (guest star Lauren London) friendship continues to grow when she invites him over to her house, an invitation he hides from Silver (Jessica Stroup). Dustin Milligan, Ryan Eggold, AnnaLynne McCord, Michael Steger and Jessica Walter also star. Stuart Gillard directed the episode written by Jennifer Cecil.

ET has confirmed that “90210″ will introduce a gay character.

Lauren London, who was seen flirting outrageously with Dixon (Tristan Wilds) on the last new episode of “90210″ to air, will be coming out on the Jan. 6 episode.

London’s character, Christina, will have a girlfriend, but, according to TV Guide, she is going to be bisexual, which may make a triangle with Dixon and Silver (Jessica Stroup).

“90210″ airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m.

Upon seeing Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Ethan (Dustin Milligan) kissing, Naomi (AnnaLynne) decides to take matters into her own hands to get back at Annie for her deceit. The students are in shock about the news that Ryan (Ryan Eggold) hooked up with one of the students, Kimberly (guest star Jessica Lucas), and that he has taken a leave of absence. Kelly (Jennie Garth) returns from her trip to visit Dylan and confronts Ryan about the allegations. Harry (Rob Estes) and Debbie (Lori Loughlin) throw a party for Annie’s sixteenth birthday, and everyone except Naomi is surprised when someone from Annie’s past shows up. Annie and Naomi get into a screaming argument about their alleged backstabbing. After having dinner with Navid and his family, Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) learns that Navid (Michael Steger) is a virgin. Jessica Walter, Tristan Wilds, and Jessica Stroup also star. Wendey Stanzler directed the episode written by Kristin Long.

Sony Pictures has announced that  they will release on DVD ‘This Christmas’ and ‘The Perfect Holiday’, on on November 11.  These are two holiday films that folks have been asking about since the films were released in theaters last year.

Annie Wilson, the new kid in town on the CW’s “90210,” may have won the lead role in the high school production of “Spring Awakening,” but the actress who plays her, Shenae Grimes, was nowhere to be seen at Thursday’s opening of the Los Angeles production of the Tony Award-winning musical.

But although Grimes, who has become a favorite in the tabloids due to her ultra-thinness and alleged bad behavior on the set, was a no-show, several of her co-stars did make the trek to the Ahmanson Theatre to take in the tuneful celebration of sexual awakening and youthful defiance. Rob Estes, Lori Loughlin, AnnaLyne McCord, Jessica Stroup and Ryan Eggold circulated in the theater and congratulated the young cast at the pseudo-grungy afterparty in the Center Theatre Group’s parking lot, where guests feasted on burgers served from a diner truck. Other stars chowing downSpringjaney_2 included Allison Janney, who recently finished her Ahmanson stint in the Broadway-bound “9 to 5,” Loretta Devine (“Dreamgirls”), Marissa Jaret Winokur (“Hairspray”) and Laura Innes (“E.R”).

The loud rock score on stage was surpassed in volume by the rapturous audience reception when the play ended. First to leap to his feet was movie and music mogul David Geffen, sitting in a center row orchestra seat near the show’s creators, Steven Sater and Duncan Shiek. Joining in were Taye Diggs (“Private Practice”), Olympic figure skater Sasha Cohen, Jane Seymour (“Wedding Crashers”), Mario Lopez (“Extra”) and Ricki Lake.

SUMMARY

Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) confesses about her drug use, effectively clearing Naomi’s (AnnaLynne McCord) name, and is forced to check into rehab for her addiction. With no one left to turn to, Adrianna finds Navid (Michael Steger) by her side, determined to help her through her pain. At the dance, Ryan (Ryan Eggold) catches Kimberly (guest star Jessica Lucas) buying drugs from a student but is even more surprised to learn that she is an undercover cop. After a conversation with Tabitha (Jessica Walter), Debbie (Lori Loughlin) confronts Tracy (guest star Christina Moore) about her inappropriate behavior towards Harry (Rob Estes), and despite her root canal pain, Silver (Jessica Stroup) and Dixon (Tristan Wilds) dance the night away.
